Retrograde Is Still in Effect, So Slow Down and Stay the Course
Your weekly ZORAscope for May 11–17: Mars rules fevers and contagions. Pisces rules obscure diseases. Protect yourself as best you can.
It’s frustrating that there’s so much fearmongering around retrograde cycles. Within our human experience, it’s not healthy to always be moving forward and never pause for reflection. Retrograde exposes anything that needs to be re-___ (-viewed, -vealed, -written, -dacted, -evaluated. You get it, right?) It’s not fun to do things over, but in the hustle of life we sometimes miss certain details that need to be addressed. Look at our world; there’s a lot to be mad about and much to discuss. Vanquish your retrograde fears by taking accountability for being the architect of your choices.
The week begins with Mercury in Taurus squaring up with Mars in Aquarius, delivering a challenge via the final messages of Mercury in Taurus. Do you know the true impact of your voice on your community? Act like it. How can we innovate to fill our physical needs and create a more sustainable economy?
We can work through answering these questions when Mercury enters Gemini at 4:58 p.m. CT on Monday. Mercury rules Gemini, placing our attention on thinking, learning, and communication. There’s much to consider and a lot of information being circulated. Be mindful of what is said and unsaid. The next few weeks would be great for working on breath work, writing, sales, and marketing. If you’ve been a bit quiet until now, you may find yourself more chatty than usual.
On Tuesday, after the moon has entered Aquarius, Mercury then harmonizes with Saturn in Aquarius. This helps us figure out how we want to express ourselves and get the word out. If things haven’t been making sense, now it all begins to come together. There’s a major emphasis on media and communication. You may decide to start a writing practice or become more disciplined in what information you consume.
Mars also rules your sense of smell, fevers, and contagious diseases. Pisces rules diseases involving mucus and diseases that are obscure or hard to diagnose……
