Halloween’s Full Moon Is Also a Rare Blue Moon: Our Astrologer Breaks Down This Event

This week’s Taurus full moon is a bit busy considering it is a blue moon and occurring on Halloween. A blue moon happens when there are two full moons within one (calendar) month. Halloween tends to be the day of the year when the veil between worlds is the thinnest. All kinds of ghouls and monsters are able to come out to play. Full moons can be quite hectic. Ask anyone who works in a hospital or law enforcement; there’s usually an uptick in injuries and crime those nights. Astrologically, full moons are about bringing things to awareness and completion. This is when we let go of the things that keep us from being in harmony with others and ourselves.

For this particular lunation, there’s stubbornness in the air. Perhaps you’re digging your heels in for things to stay the same or you’re pivoting to make a change. There’s a great deal of psyche work going on, and we have to stay open to what we find…
