As coronavirus spreads, this week’s astrology keeps you centered
Here’s your weekly horoscope, created by resident ZORA astrologer Ashleigh D. Jay, creator of the Insta famous #OurDailySlay. More than a whimsical delivery of relationship and career predictions, Ashleigh’s approach to horoscopes are designed to give you a deeper understanding of the universe around and within you. At the end of each sign’s overview, she asks a meditative question intended to spark thoughts that lead to healing and self-mastery
The week begins with Mercury entering Pisces for the second time this year, moving us once again into murky mental waters. It’s important to watch your thoughts, especially the negative ones. Under these skies, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos and paranoia. Watch the things you feed with your attention for they are sure to grow.
The Capricorn moon this week is extremely potent because it’s helping us wrap up the story that Saturn in Capricorn has been telling (read: yelling at) us for the last two years. Saturn has been in Capricorn since December 2017, teaching us about commitment, discipline, accountability, business, power structures, and government. This week, you’re getting rid of anything that’s keeping you from putting in the necessary work for your dream to solidify into a legacy.
The spring equinox is Thursday. On this day, we have equal amounts of daylight and night as well as permission to start fresh. People are choosing sides based on their core values and their perception of humanity. You need to do the same.
Fittingly on Saturday (Saturn’s day), Saturn enters Aquarius and provides a much-needed burst of fresh air. This is the first time Saturn has been at home in Aquarius since 1994. Saturn in Aquarius is calling for revolution. The game has changed, and it’s time for you to change with it. The old ways no longer work, so now it’s time to innovate.

March 21 — April 19
Happy birthday, Aries! Your season begins this week, energizing you in a host of new ways. The next month, your lesson lies in understanding how your current actions will affect your career and your network. Speaking of your friends, Saturn entering Aquarius places an emphasis on your groups, hopes, wishes, and benefactors. Perhaps it’s time to find the value in being quick to connect with those who are tried and true.
This week you’re getting rid of anything that’s keeping you from putting in the necessary work for your dream to solidify into a legacy.
The start of the week also finds you in a more reflective mood. You could find that you’re seeing through the illusions of what you’ve been taught or what you’ve inherited. You could also be taking inventory of how your career and reputation have changed over the last few years. Note any tension you may have around authority figures. Recommit yourself to this new phase in your legacy.
Be mindful about your finances. With Uranus shaking things up on the financial front, this is the time to reconsider your skills and how you want to monetize them.
Meditation: What do you want to be known for?

April 20 — May 20
The last few years may have been challenging for you, but now, as Mercury enters Pisces, there is an opportunity for you to revise your dreams based on your new reality. You could also find yourself holding onto a bit of sorrow. Cry it out if you need to. The Mercury retrograde period might have alerted you to who your friends truly are. Socialize intuitively and accordingly.
Aries season brings an urge to explore the things you hide from yourself and the world. By the end of the week, you could be provoked to defend your values. Take a moment to pause and reflect, then deliver your answer if you feel it’s beneficial to do so.
This week, your career and public life will be activated. The things you do and say gain attention and publicity. Be mindful of the power of your voice.
Meditation: What are the ways I use my voice to serve myself? What are the ways I can use my voice to serve others?

May 21 — June 20

As Saturn prepares to leave Capricorn, you can find yourself coming to terms with exactly how others invest in you and what you’re willing to do to reciprocate. Many would be surprised to know that you consider consistency a part of intimacy.
Meanwhile, the planets are stimulating your need to travel long distances, explore your spirituality, or expand your mind. You could even find yourself working on long-form writing or publishing projects over the next few years. Saturn can help provide the sustained focus you need to see this through.
Meditation: What are some ways you are still a student?

In terms of partnerships, the pressure is finally releasing. The last few years could have been difficult in terms of sorting out fair and just terms with everyone you’re connected to. Do not waver on your needs for a solid, consistent partner.
Your career could be heating up to the point where you find yourself interested in advancing in leadership. Get ready because soon, in the second half of the year, you might find yourself separating professionally from the pack.
Meditation: What does your ideal union consist of?

Saturn’s journey in Capricorn focused on providing a new sense of order and structure to how you receive or experience pleasure. Now is the time to consider what the last few years taught you about needing fun.
For you, this Aries season is one of adjustment and settling debts. This is when you become aware of what you owe and what is owed to you. The planets are emphasizing your health, wellness, and daily routine. This could indicate a career shift where you realize you need a more innovative work environment. You can achieve this by finding an income stream or revolutionizing where you are now. The decision will come to you soon enough; for now, just observe and stay healthy.
Meditation: Are you prepared to set a new standard for yourself?

September 23 — October 22
The lessons of Mercury retrograde figure highly this week. It’s all about how you take care of yourself from day to day. Also, Saturn leaving Capricorn will help you ease the pressure from your family and private life. The Aries sun awakens your desire to connect with others. Do not discredit your intuition as a deciding factor in a partnership. Take notice of the resources that need to be available in order for you to feel secure in a partnership. The things you need now may be different than what you’ve needed historically.
Saturn entering Aquarius electrifies your sense of creativity, pleasure, and fun. You may be very serious about your children, be they creative or in the flesh. Even your inner child is getting some attention through this transit.

With Saturn being in the last degrees of Capricorn, you may find yourself wanting to document all the downloads that are coming through. You could also find that it’s hard to express the depth of what you’ve been through over the last few years. Utilize music, meditation, local spaces sacred to you, and prayer to help unlock what’s been hidden away.
Aries season shines a light on your need to blaze trails on a daily basis. Perhaps you’ve lost that fire for your daily routine. This is the time where you begin to spice things up a bit. However, don’t be hasty. Be quick to take action on a well-researched plan rather than a whim.

Meditation: Are you open to developing a new strategy to get the results you want?

November 22 — December 21
Mercury in Pisces places your mind on your family, foundation, roots, and private life. What do you believe or say or do when you are alone? What have you been raised to believe is true? You may find yourself revisiting the truths and illusions of where you come from. Be gentle with yourself and others along the way.
You are more than likely happy that Saturn is leaving Capricorn and taking its foot off the neck of your finances. The last few years have forced you to create new financial structures for yourself despite the chaos happening in other areas of your life. You’re still going to have to stay on top of things, but soon you’ll be able to breathe a bit easier thanks to the discipline you have now.
Aries season finds you in the mood to do what you do best — lead the way to the party. Perhaps you haven’t felt like your jovial self in a while, but that is about to change while the sun is in Aries.
Saturn in Aquarius brings attention to what’s happening locally and mentally. Perhaps you are looking to engage with different groups of people in your neighborhood or city. Tap into your spirituality for guidance.
The start of Aries season plus Saturn entering your sign could spark overwhelmedness, but once you get to work on your vision, you’ll feel better. Document and do what you can to honor your dreams. Things are different, and so are you. Find the things that feel like home.
Meditation: What are the new facts about you? Meditate on your slay receipts.

February 19 — March 20
The focus is shifting to you connecting with your body as well as your deeper self. For as much as you share your energy with the world, this week’s transits hope to show you how to be more self-contained. This could be due to a restructuring of friendships and connections based on recent events and commitments.
The sun entering Aries adds some fuel to your financial fire. Take advantage of this energy and put some real thought into how to achieve your dreams.
The end of the week could find you wanting to take some of your more innovative ideas behind the scenes.
