Listen: Anita Baker’s Rapture. I scored one of two vinyl copies during my visit to the Reparations Club, a Black-woman-owned market place in Los Angeles, last week. I’ll cue up the record player for hits like “Same Ole Love (365 Days a Year),” “Sweet Love,” “You Bring Me Joy,” and “Caught Up in the Rapture,” and will croon along. Watch: 90 Day Fiancé — This phenomenon of a show is addicting. Each couple consists of one American and a foreigner. They have 90 days to marry after the foreigner moves to the United States so that that person can get the K-1 visa. As you can expect, this is not nearly enough time to get to know someone and the shenanigans begin. Quality (trash) television. — Morgan Jerkins, senior editor
