Dear ZORA Family,

Not so long ago, Easter was that time of year when everyone displayed their Sunday Best: curls, ribbons, sharp suits, patent leather Mary Janes, ruffled socks, white gloves, bonnets. It was a time to showcase your best finery for all to see.

Now in the time of Covid-19, Easter won’t exactly look the same. But that doesn’t mean we can’t reminisce and honor the memory of what was. Nor does it mean we can’t make adjustments to reflect our new normal.

At ZORA, we’re remembering the beauty of the Easter Pageant, as well as offering a history of church-going for those of us who need a refresher. And we have advice for how to partake in Communion even without the face-to-face interaction.

What I wish for us all is an Easter filled with peace and providence. Please enjoy your time with your loved ones, and remember, wherever we gather together for the sake of worship is a sacred space.

Stay in touch,
