This is a righteous rant — so buckle up buttercup this Black chick’s magic doesn’t include a broomstick or Airwick.

Hi, one of the ladies from GFC entering the chat.

I’m a bougie negro who does not enjoy cleaning.

I love bleach and clean often — but only because I was raised that way, it’s not my birthright or a natural inclination.

I am no less of a woman than any other who happily pays for help. How is it that Black women are somehow flawed in comparison to other women if we aren’t perfect, Suzy homemakers? Yet, it’s almost expected that white women and their assimilated and affluent brown sisters don’t cook, clean, and are still valued enough “to get a ring” like Ms. Cardi?

I can’t fry anything without getting an ethnic food injury and I really hate domestic chocolate which is actually an oxymoron considering 70% of chocolate is grown in Africa and the rest comes from Asia and South America.
