Keke Palmer Has Been In An Abusive Relationship This Whole Time
This is really sad and I hate this for her.
In case you have no idea what’s going on, here are a few articles to catch you up before I start my think piece on this entire situation:
Keke Palmer is a beloved actress. She’s been in the business for years, with her debut in Akeelah and the Bee. She starred in her own show on Nickelodeon, True Jackson, VP. Keke was one of the few Black young actresses Black women had to look up to during the time of her rise in the industry. More recently, the internet has been obsessed with her bubbly personality. She’s extremely charming and rarely had any bad press. This situation is surprising.
The news of her abusive relationship is actually heartbreaking.
Before I continue, I have to say the allegations are public record. A restraining order was filed against her baby daddy and details of his abuse are in it. There are photos and surveillance video of him breaking into her house and assaulting her. It details that he has been abusive to their baby. Which…I cannot even tell you how horrendous that is.
