*Deep Sigh* I so wanted to leave the Keke Palmer topic alone. I have literally been ignoring texts, tweets, videos, etc., for weeks, just hoping it would die down.

But in true internet fashion, no one will shut up long enough to allow me and my opinions to rest. I mean, I was fine when I found out they were breaking up and even when Keke came out about potentially being bisexual, but when I noticed all the single mother shaming, I just couldn't keep silent.

The single mother shaming

In the past, I have spoken quite candidly about the fact that no woman is immune to single mother status and that once you're in that boat, it can be challenging to navigate through criticisms coming from societal riff-raff typically composed of men (who never have to worry about being single mothers) and childless/married women who don't realize they're one false move away from being categorized as single moms themselves.
