“I’ve Paid For More Abortions Than Any Woman in This Room”
Chris Rock takes responsibility for the role he has played in abortion
I watched the comedy special, Selective Outrage with Chris Rock last night. It was Netflix’s first-ever global live-streaming event. I was excited and had snacks and drinks ready for the show. It was good, I think, or maybe it was just Chris Rock. Not his best, but I felt there were still some good moments in there. I think there are a lot of things to talk about when it comes to his Netflix special.
I have mixed feelings about the program. There were parts I agreed with and other parts that I did not. In this story, I will discuss one part that I agreed with.
Chris Rock said,
“I’ve paid for more abortions than any woman in this room.”
I’m not surprised and I'm sure he’s telling the truth. It was nice to hear for once that level of honesty. For once a man took responsibility for the role he has played in abortion and alleviated some of that burden off of women.
