Dear ZORA Family,

On a recent Zoom call with some colleagues, someone asked me if I could quantify my current motivation level in a percentage. I had to be honest: some days it feels like I’m operating at 60% capacity; other days I’m firing on all cylinders. The instability of it all sometimes gets to me — that is until I realize that we’ve collectively been dealing with some pretty heavy paradigm shifts over these last few months. So it’s only natural to feel a bit off your game.

We live in a social climate where we’ve been conditioned not to let our guard down, to suck it up and just power through. We’ve also been conditioned to be a light for everyone around us—to make them feel hopeful, optimistic, or energized about everything. Reminder: Not your job.
