You say: “I don’t have time for this!” But Spirit begs to differ! The two of pentacles hints at an imbalance in how you manage your time and energy. This week calls for self-investigation: “What am I doing too much of? What am I doing not enough of?”

Accept that you might’ve bitten off more than you can chew. Be realistic with what you’re able to take on, and create a balance in your life that feels good to your mind, body, and spirit while maintaining productivity.

The energy for the week draws our attention to our daily commitments, tasks, responsibilities, habits, promises, routines, etc. When new opportunities arise, it can be exciting but also just as terrifying when you ask yourself how you’re going to get it all done. Sometimes it looks like pushing everything to the side to focus on what’s most urgent; other times it looks like staring at our calendars, in intimidation, opting to do nothing at all and try again tomorrow. We’ve all had those days, but the reality is that most of us are wearing many hats—the spouse hat, parent hat, entrepreneur hat, freelancer hat, daughter, sister, mother, and auntie hats on top of having our own lives. It can be a lot!

It can seem impossible to create space for joy, therapy, caring connections, self-care, and self-exploration when our energy is being pulled in so many other directions. The two of cowrie provides the intention of staying rooted, but that’s not always a physical thing. Though our work and family lives seem most pressing, Spirit wants to make sure that we are creating systems, routines, and rituals that recognize all facets of our day-to-day lives. Pay close attention to the promises you make, and do your best to honor them. Showing up for our commitments to others is important, but what about the promises you make with yourself?

Accept that you might’ve bitten off more than you can chew. Be realistic with what you’re able to take on, and create a balance in your life that feels…
