I guess it’s safe to say I was a little bit of a fan of Jeannie Mai. I watched The Real when it was still on air. I’ve always been a daytime talk show gal, thanks to my mother. I liked what she had to say on a lot of topics. She’s poised, entertaining, and very relatable. She’s opened up about her career journey in Los Angeles. She’s been very candid about her first marriage and ultimate divorce. She was loud about wanting to be child-free.
Then she divorced her now ex-husband. He moved on quickly after they were done. He got remarried and had the child he always wanted. A lot of us were rooting for Jeannie to find happiness.
She started her own YouTube Channel. She got remarried to the rapper Jeezy, which was kinda random. Then to our surprise, they had a child. Jeannie had a massive change of heart when it came to children and she credits this to finally feeling safe in a relationship. The two have only been together since 2018. Their relationship felt like a whirlwind. They’ve only been married for 2 years. He has 3 previous children with 3 different women. I just have to address this for a second. Why would you think the love of your life has three baby mamas?

Their wedding was captured by Vogue back in 2021. Their wedding looked beautiful. Like literally stunning. It looks like everything most women would want. They look happy, but who knows what’s been going on behind the scenes for the past 2 years.
That’s the thing, we’ve seen a slideshow of their relationship. We don’t know anything about their actual relationship. The internet has created this narrative around them. We think they’re two people who finally got it right after a lot of trial and error. They finally got their fairytale. For some people, they provided hope. Just because something doesn’t work out, doesn’t mean you can’t find your greatest love.
