This is an email from Keepin' It 💯, a newsletter by ZORA.

Dear ZORA Family,

It’s been 9 months since we launched ZORA magazine on Medium, and the response we’ve received to our passion project has been overwhelming—and I mean that in the best way! When we started on this journey to unabashedly amplify the voices of women of color, I wasn’t absolutely certain that we would find our tribe. But you, our loyal followers, have shown up for us, both here and on our social media platforms, in ways that make us both humble and grateful.

I personally want to thank each one of you for supporting the work that we do daily, especially at a time when so many in the mainstream would prefer that our voices be silenced. It’s been a privilege connecting with you and learning all about what drives you, excites you, pains you and uplifts you.

My hope is that you will continue to enjoy the carefully curated content we have created just for you, and appreciate the ad-free environment that allows us the freedom to speak our truths. I also hope that you will consider joining us as a paying member of Medium to support our journalism. It’s as easy as clicking on the link here.

As we inch closer to our 1 year anniversary, I’ll be sending out weekly notes like this one to keep you up to date on what’s up at ZORA, as well as what’s on my mind as I think about the best ways we can serve you.

On that note, please be sure to check out our new ZORAscope column which is, as you’ve probably guessed, our freshly-minted weekly horoscope designed with women of color in mind.

Stay in touch,
