Dear ZORA Family,

It’s been 9 months since we launched ZORA magazine on Medium, and the response we’ve received to our passion project has been overwhelming—and I mean that in the best way! When we started on this journey to unabashedly amplify the voices of women of color, I wasn’t absolutely certain that we would find our tribe. But you, our loyal followers, have shown up for us, both here and on our social media platforms, in ways that make us both humble and grateful.

I personally want to thank each one of you for supporting the work that we do daily, especially at a time when so many in the mainstream would prefer that our voices be silenced. It’s been a privilege connecting with you and learning all about what drives you, excites you, pains you and uplifts you.

My hope is that you will continue to enjoy the carefully curated content we have created just for you, and appreciate the ad-free environment that allows us the freedom to speak our truths.
