Candace Owens Thinks Hiring Disabled Models is Taking Inclusivity Too Far

Candace Owens, known for her reactionary and controversial statements online, has taken issue with a recent marketing campaign for Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line SKIMS. To advertise her new adaptive collection, Kardashian released a marketing campaign featuring disabled models, primarily wheelchair users.

Disabled models advertising a collection of shapewear geared primarily toward disabled people. A totally normal marketing campaign that no one could find objectionable, right?

I hate the internet sometimes.

Owens did NOT like the campaign. On her show, she called it ridiculous, said she didn’t get why we needed this, and declared it America’s obsession with inclusivity taken too far.
