Spoiler Alert! This article includes topics that were discussed by Julie Chen and the houseguests during the Big Brother 21 finale. I will not reveal the final head of household, the winner, or runner up.

Okay, we good? Here we go.

I love Big Brother. I guess you could call it a guilty pleasure, but I’m not really guilty about it. If you are not a fan, here’s a bit of background:

Camp counselor banishments

At the beginning of the season, Jackson Michie was elected as the BB Camp Counselor. When it came time for him to banish four houseguests to fight for their BB lives in a competition, he chose David, Kemi, Jessica, and Cliff. David and Kemi are Black, Jessica is a Latina plus-sized model, and Cliff was the lone older, gray-haired houseguest.

Now, before Michie chose anyone to banish, I said to my daughter:

“He’s going to pick the two Black people, the fat girl, and the old guy.”
